Library Summer Reading Progam:

With summer vacation just around the corner, I wanted to share some exciting Summer Reading Club information for your students with you. Also attached a link with some images that you are welcome to include in your school newsletter. Summer Reading Club is an excellent way to encourage your students to keep reading all summer long, and to try new books too!

TD Summer Reading Club: Reading Fun for Everyone!
Looking for something fun this summer? Whitby Public Library’s inclusive, bilingual program engages children of all ages and abilities in the joy of reading. Beginning with Get Your Summer Read on Day on June 23, visit your library once per week to tell us about what you’ve been reading, collect beads for the number of minutes read, and at the end of summer create your own necklace or keychain to show off how much reading you’ve accomplished! Join us for our free literacy and STEAM programs all summer long for even more fun. Don’t miss out!
